These cookies are a great snack for everyone with a glass of milk or hot beverage. They have double the chocolate where we have cocoa powder and white chocolate chips though you can also use dark chocolate. If you don’t have the chocolate chips/block, you skip it and have them plain and they would still be delicious.

1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter or margarine, room temperature
1/2 cup (105 grams) light brown sugar
1/4 cup (50 grams) white granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (130 grams) all purpose flour
1/4 cup (30 grams) cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups (260 grams) white chocolate chips or chunks from cut up chocolate block
