How to make Chocolate Cup cakes


• 2 cups (400 grams) granulated white sugar
• 1 3/4 cups (245 grams) all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup (75 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup (240 ml) warm water or coffee
• 1 cup (240 ml) milk
• 1/2 cup (120 ml) corn, vegetable oil
• 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1. Measure and add all dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
2. Break the eggs and in a small container bring together all the wet ingredients together, mix well then add to the bowl with the dry ingredients.
3. Mix everything until all flour is mixed through.
4. Pour the cake mixture in a suitable baking tin lined with a grease proof paper if making a large cake while for cupcakes pour into cupcake liners until filled 3/4 way.
5. Bake in preheated oven(180ºC) until a toothpick or small knife inserted at the centre of the cake comes out clean. It should take about 15 min for cup cakes and about 35 minutes if using a round 24 inch baking tin
6. Allow to cool completely and enjoy.
