How to make Yogurt Cake

A soft delicious dense cake that’s an everyday cake great for dessert or even with tea and coffee. It’s easy to make and I hope you enjoy yours when you make it.


1 1/4 cups (195g) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon (4g) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon (2g) baking soda
Zest of one lemon (optional)
2 large eggs at room temperature
1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
3/4 cup (180 ml/grams) plain yogurt, at room temperature
1 teaspoon (4 grams) pure vanilla extract
1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar
