The Most Chocolate Pound Cake with Chocolate Coating

A delicious way to enjoy chocolate cake in a simple cake that you will love. The cake is dense but soft and a lovely chocolate flavour from cocoa which is dissolved with hot water to get the full flavour. The cake doesn’t need an icing but the chocolate ganache glaze will make it extra delicious

Chocolate Pound Cake Recipe:

1/4 cup (25 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup (60 ml) boiling hot water
1 1/2 cups (180 grams) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup (225 grams) margarine, at room temperature
1 1/4 cups (250 grams) white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 large eggs, at room temperature
2 tablespoons milk, at room temperature
